Executive Director's Message

Dear MEMH Supporters:

I would like to take a little time and introduce myself to all of our wonderful supporters.  My name is Christin Nunnery and I recently accepted the job of Executive Director.  I have worked at MEMH for the last three years, and I have worked in every position available.  I am so excited for the opportunity to be in this position and can’t wait to see how God will use me for his ministry.

The first big task I have as director is to hire a case manager to fill my old position.  I had many applicants apply, and I am so excited to introduce the newest full time employee at MEMH.  Alyssa Dechant has accepted the Case Manager position, and is excited to get started.  She is a Hays native, and has a lot of fresh ideas for her position.  It is always exciting to get someone new with fresh ideas, but we will continue to re-focus our efforts with our young ladies to really identify their core needs and use that for the basis of their individual case plans.  We continue our professional relationships with state agencies and will work with their case workers to create healthy, functioning young ladies who are prepared for motherhood or placing their babies for adoption.

We believe God placed this ministry here and has lots in store of all of us.  We also believe that he will continue to provide for this ministry, to keep our mission alive and growing.  Please keep Mary Elizabeth Maternity Home in your prayers.
